In Dunwoody, GA, Action Septic Tank Service performed a crossover. The attached video shows the result of our work.
Prior to the repair, this septic system was not properly distributing the effluent to all four drainfield lines. The line shown in this video was one of the two not being utilized, and the septic system wasn't operating at full capacity. This forced the water level inside the septic tank to overfill and backup into the house.
To repair, we excavated the dry, unused portion of the drainfield. We dug down to where the effluent was reaching and made a path for the water to travel to the dry runs. Then, we reconnected the two lines which allowed for the flow of effluent. The system was now working at full capacity and using all of its lines.
