To repair, Action Septic Tank Service pulled and cleaned the septic filter. This allowed the water to make its way to the distribution box. The attached video shows the system properly flowing.
The distribution box is located between the septic tank and drainfield. It evenly distributes the effluent, or wastewater, to the drainfield. Prior to this repair, the wastewater was unable to reach the distribution box and so the system became overloaded. Action Septic Tank Service recommends having the distribution box checked during your yearly septic inspection.
