In Marietta, East Cobb, GA, Action Septic Tank Service cleared a blocked main line using a rooter machine. We used 50-feet of cable to safely and quickly clean the inside of the pipe.

Prior to the repair, the customer's toilets were gurgling and could not be flushed. We found the main line from the house to the septic tank was intruded with tree roots, toilet paper and sanitary products. This blockage prevented the water to correctly make its way through the system and so it overflowed. Once we used the rooter machine to clear the clogged line, the system began to properly flow again.

Roswell, GA Septic Service

In Roswell, GA, Action Septic Tank Service performed a crossover. A crossover is used to connect a field line to the next field line in a series of trenches. See the attached video.

Prior to this repair, water was backing up in and around the home. Inside the septic tank, the water level was high and the system was blocked. We found that only a small percentage of the drainfield was actually being utilized.

To fix, we performed a crossover and tied the wet line back into the dry line. This allowed the water to properly flow again. The system was now working at full capacity and using all of its lines.

In Alpharetta, GA, Action Septic Tank Service replaced and rewired the float switch inside the pump tank. See the attached video.

Prior to this repair, the float switch alarm was sounding. We discovered that the float switch malfunctioned. It was incorrectly wired and improperly fastened with tape. Also, the faulty wiring did not have a protective waterproof sealant in place. To repair, we dug up all of the old wires and properly replaced, rewired and secured the float switch.

A float switch will sound when the water inside the tank rises to a certain level. This alert means that the septic system may be on the verge of overflowing. It is possible the sewage pump has stopped working or is jammed. There may be an issue with the power source or the alarm switch itself. The septic system could also be failing or have blockages.

The septic tank receives untreated wastewater from your home or business. Inside the septic tank, the heavy solids settle to the bottom forming the sludge layer. The light solids and grease float to the top making up the scum. The wastewater, which forms the middle layer, exits the tank and goes out to the drainfield.

Bacteria work to naturally break down the sludge and scum. The leftover scum and sludge that remains must be pumped out. Without regular pumping, the buildup of the solids becomes too high and moves to the drainfield. This causes drainfield clogging and system failure.

In Roswell, GA, Action Septic Tank Service repaired a failing septic system. The septic filter was completely clogged and wasn't allowing the water to flow to the distribution box. This caused the entire septic system to backup.

To repair, Action Septic Tank Service pulled and cleaned the septic filter. This allowed the water to make its way to the distribution box. The attached video shows the system properly flowing.

The distribution box is located between the septic tank and drainfield. It evenly distributes the effluent, or wastewater, to the drainfield. Prior to this repair, the wastewater was unable to reach the distribution box and so the system became overloaded.
